Here are a few changes in Hanuman organization’s policies effective 1-January, 2019.
RMHO truly appreciates the passion of all our hosts that have or would like to host monthly Hanuman Chalisa events at their home. To streamline our operations, we’re asking that host family participate in at least two Chalisa events prior to hosting the event at your home. We believe this will make it better for everyone by:
- Helping the host family become familiar with organizing the Chalisa event and all associated requirements
- Making sure the RMHO core team is familiar with host family members
- Helping the host family become familiar with not only RMHO core team, but the Rocky Mountain Hanuman devotee community at large, and give you an opportunity to invite everyone first hand one or two events before the event at your home. One of the main reasons we hear devotees not participating in a Chalisa event is because they don’t know the host family, and following this process will take that away, thereby increasing participation and Bhakthi vibrations
We always hope to see our host families participate whenever they can in the chalisa events, but this policy will help us with a structure around the thought.Suggested minimum donationStarting in 2019, we are recommending a $54 suggested minimum donation to RMHO by the host family for Hanuman Chalisa parayans hosted at your home.
